Yugioh players are like gamblers. They either win the coin toss and pop off, or lose the coin toss and hope they win the coin toss next time so they get to pop off again. Powercreep got to the point where if you don't force your opponent to stop, they would build a ridiculously unbreakable board, so the best course of action is to use handtraps. But nowadays, engines have become more efficient than ever, so even the most powerful handtraps of today start mattering less and less.

trust me, a tenpai player who knows what they are doing will not give a care about your yubel and nightmare pain if you don't have some sorts of pre-emptive protection, they will just go ham at your yubel and swing in for game your damage reflect doesn't do anything because they have a dragon to prevent battle damage your back row will be popped when bident risen from the grave your yubel will be popped when transcendent risen from the grave you can't activate anything during the battle phase whilst transcendent is on board and if the tenpai player is experienced, they would just make a meteor burst to burry what little hope you've got left luckily, tenpai got axed with the recent ban list but their otk potiential is still there, just be glad that it's not consistent anymore

CyDra, Raidraptor and Branded player. First, the Branded ones that depend of locking opponent are lame. Second and last, any rogue deck that isn't Ancient Gear are powerless on this format, you already know the opponent has staples and STILL COMBO, this shit of format can barely be called game at this point
