How did this truck ride with both the belltech springs and ball joint flip? Thanks in advance.

I like that stance. I just bought a 95 Tacoma, It already had some custom wheels on it but it's at stock ride height and looks goofy as hell. I'm an old hot rod guy and although I more than know my way around a shop I no little about these trucks. It's just a daily driver and I don't want to put alot of money in it so I'm going to lower it myself but i'm confused about what kit to buy.

Hey man, love the truck. Sorry to see the wreck. Gonna be starting my taco build soon too. How did you make sure the new bolt holes for the lower ball joint on the extension brackets were center/parallel with the control arm? Also how did you determine the angle of the bend on those brackets?

I just simply extended the factory bolt holes. The factory angle of the lower control arm was fine because if you angle it anymore the car bottoms out nasty

as annoying z's are, great choice. getting more seat time will make you a lot more comfortable and confident by the time you get back in your truck. my is300 did wonders for my driving mod cause of how much seat time you can get with a reliable car. even with suframe swaps still hella to dial in on our drift trucks to make them feel proper
@ditchboiz52985 ай бұрын
Hell yeah man! That’s exactly what my plan is! My driving is so bad and it hurt to lose my truck so I’m doubling down getting better at driving and building a better truck thanks for the support 🙏👍
@Drunken_Hamster5 ай бұрын
If you really wanna go hard with the truck, you can order 2x6 3/16ths thick box material and make your own ladder frame out of it with your own cross-members, X bracing, and notched hoops for stuff like the drive shaft and exhaust to pass through. Then do a bolt in cage with the cab and bed and turn them into one piece that lifts up separately from the chassis and bed floor. Of course all my other suggestions are still on the table, too. An LV3 with a David Vizard cam theory spec cam (not to mention, cd009 and 3.23 rear gears) will give you gobs of usable torque, and if you're interested in redoing the rear suspension, a de-dion axle will be the absolute shit, especially since you'll be the first person after about 2010 to put one in a performance car.
@ditchboiz52985 ай бұрын
Hell yeah! I’m definitely going with a box material for making a new frame it’s just a matter of pulling the cab and motor so I can build up. You have a lot of interesting ideas I’ve heard of those v6 being pretty reliable I wonder how affordable they are too I’ll look into it. But before any of that I need to figure out a S13 front end 🙏
