Here's my hot take: While "Hogwarts Legacy" is undeniably a great game, it didn't quite exceed my expectations. It missed several key elements that make an RPG truly impactful. First off, I was hoping players could choose their own origin characters, but instead, we got a blank slate-a chosen one character with a dull backstory. Additionally, none of your choices seem to have any real consequences, which is a missed opportunity for creating a deeply immersive experience. Mind you, this isn't a negative review but rather a wishlist for what I'd love to see in a potential sequel.

This was actually a project idea I had as a college freshman, proposed as part of a student-professor collaboration. Not surprisingly, it didn't come to fruition, given my limited programming knowledge at the time.
