Nobody realizes that these dogs aren't like what you see in memes. They're difficult but rewarding when you get it right. I'm on my second rescue Husky, I do what I can with the knowledge I have to give them the long lives they deserve (even if I feel like they're trying to shorten mine...lol).

I had a Malemute and Wolf. His name was Comfort. He had a lot of energy but was incredibly kind. He was the protector not only to me, but all the dogs.

We had two hybrids and had them until they pasted at the age of 14 and 16. They were a bonded pair with a higher percentage. Now we have one and she is lower percentage than our other two. But all of them were and are great. If a person has one of these they have to know what you are doing!

How in the world? I can handle that sized husky. She is adorable. I want her because she is cute as hell. I can’t stand shelters. It’s so damn sad. I commit to a dog for life. I want her. She’s small. Husky’s can pull me down. I have a pit lab mix. She’s well trained now but I got her as a puppy. So. She was free to a good home. Just country dog.

I’m impressed. You’re doing the right thing for him. He needs more than a cage. She definitely needs him. Star is accepting him more than I expected. I’m so thankful for you doing this work. Wolves are wild animals. They are not pets. I can’t handle a husky’s energy. They are beautiful but wolves are not meant for pets. I’m not preaching. I know you know that. I was thinking, surely they are not breeding. Whew. These animals can be handled but only by someone with the experience. I refuse to call an 87% animal a dog. Dogs were domesticated for use by humans thousands of years ago. To expect a different animal just by breeding is crazy. I know you are not. Now. My first time on here.
