Can you tell me the names of either of the two locks in this video and or where I can purchase them ? What store ? And measurements on them

I had the same unit only I couldn't insert the key into the lock to gain entry. Between drilling and prying the cabinet open it was pretty well junk.

IKR, I have no idea what the previous owners did to this car. Rides fine, but a spring swap is probably in my future.

Thank you for sharing! This works way better than a cabinet without a key! Will be adding a hasp lock as well.

what type of drill bit and size did you use to drill out the lock?

Hi, I can't remember exactly, but I think I started out with 1/8" or 9/64", then worked my way up (1/8, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 is usually what I do in these situations). The drill bits I used were from a DeWalt pilot point Titanium Nitride coated drill bit set, but really any high speed steel drill bits should work - the lock parts were not hardened.

Actually, this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJCQZYhja8-drq8 shows you don't even need to drill it out, just clamp vise grips on and turn. Wish I had seen that before I did this :)

This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks! I just bought two of these cabinets and the current locks are already seemed to start to sieze. Your tip on loosening the nut worked perfectly even on the key lock. I will definitely be buying these handles though as it would be way easier with a handle.

I'm not certain, but from photos online of model #GCDB-924, it appears to have a very similar lock setup. Please reply back here if you try it and it works.

Oo and by the way, I'm having such a hard time unscrewing the bolts on both ends, I almost feel like I am going to break the linkage. Can you please make a more detailed video for us 500 riders

Hey whenever I shift from 1st to 2nd on my ninja 500, 70 percent of the time it will go into neutral. Will lower the shifter lever help my shifts fully engage properly? Thank you

Johnny Good I'm not that guy, but I can tell you that going into neutral between 1st and 2nd is typically just the result of not applying enough pressure to the shifter.

does this affect the way the bike shifts ?
