Hello! Just wanted to say, this is exactly what I was looking for to play in the background for a nostalgic yet eerie scene in a tabletop-roleplaying game I'm running this weekend. All the other versions were way too in-your-face with the volume leveling, but this is perfect! Thank you so much!

I don't know why but I get a sad vibe from this. Like I'm in the mall after getting stood up by the girl of my dreams and I'm just aimlessly walking around until the mall closes because I don't want to leave just in case she shows up but it's 10 minutes till close and she's a no show. Then I finally face reality and leave empty handed with a stomach full of mediocre Japanese food holding a Cinnabon I was gonna give to her.

I heard this song numerous times while walking through my local mall. Sounded a LOT like this. I just love it, hearing 80s music in malls really gives me nostalgia... It just immediately takes you back to that time period as malls were a big hit in the 70s-80s.

This was the Rhode Island Mall, which closed in 2011 (the anchors stayed open, but Sears closed in 2017- I've actually been to that one). It's a big-box shopping center now called Midland Commons.
