"Sounds to me like mice." "Mice don't play music." "No? How about the Old Maestro?" 😂😂 Such a simple wordplay, and kind of a terrible one; yet the context, and the way Groucho delivers it, makes it utterly hysterical!

Sesame Street was a mixed bag for me. I love Teeny Little Super Guy and I would pretend I was too old and “mature” to love it as much as I did. I really loved it so much. But the came those freaky Philip Glass animation, The Geometry of Cicles and in that short half-minute, I was hiding behind the couch crying because it was just too darn creepy for an impressionable mind. It still haunts me when I daydream. But SuperGuy was so rad! Loved, loved, loved him. I felt like he was a friend. Thank you so much for sharing this video. I really appreciate it, the work you do, and the self esteem you gave to countless children just boggles. Thank you again.

Do you think the jittery-ness was due to the frame rate? I often shoot one frame per second for 15 min over 90 degrees on a different brand panning head - it's very smooth. Doing the math, that's 10 frames per 1 degree of movement. I noted that you were shooting this at 1 frame every 6 seconds for 120min over 360 degrees - which is 3 frames per degree of movement. The higher the frames per degree of movement, the smoother it will be. So, the jittery-ness may be more of a setup issue than an equipment issue. You think? And, thanks for the review I've ordered one because it's very light weight and seems to have all the functions I need for my small digital camera.
@circusitch2 ай бұрын
@@DavidonEarth I think that if it goes fast you won’t notice the jitter, like in the last walking scene. But the mirror shows how it sort of skips a beat every 4th tick. I would guess it skips the same at the higher speed. But the inertia would help smooth that out.

I’ve been rewatching episodes to nurture my inner-child, and there is so much to love about Teeny Little Super Guy! The nostalgia, the animation magic, the messages, etc. I really want to show some love to the creativity of the concept that kitchen tableware and utensils lead this rich, secret life! It’s frequently done for animals and toys, but this is quite unique! Any insight into what inspired the decision to tell the stories from within this kitchen-world?
@circusitch5 ай бұрын
@@kerblammo1600 I really don’t recall the exact origins. It’s been so long. My guess is it was possibly Paul Fierlinger brainstorming with a few others. Having it set in a normal house made it much easier as far as set design. Nothing too complicated needed to be built. No outdoors or alien space sets had to be built. Probably the egg beater scene was the most elaborate. Thank you.

This is a Mandela effect . If you look up the land o lakes history on their logos they actually never had a sun . It never existed in this reality yet you have a video showing the sun on the package . You should look into the Mandela effect . Some people remember their heart being on the far left side of their chest but it’s actually always been in the middle . Kidneys were in lower back but now higher up under rib cage . There’s many different changes out there that are proving death is an illusion.
