@@Realityvoidx You don't need to add a hi-low converter if you use an amp that has the high level input controller onboard. If you look at the amp in this video, he has the High Level Input, he just didn't use it and went with the RCA. The problem there is that the Audi subwoofer signal already has 80 Watts going to it so now his amp has 80 Watts going into the input side which is not something you want to do as it may most likely damage that input on the amp and who knows what else.

I would recommend fixing the issue, if you want to run the whole system off an aftermarket amp then it would have to deal with passing wiring from every speaker to the aftermarket amp. @ZThirtyTwo17 ай бұрын
Not a good tutorial at all really. Running a high level input into the amp low level input is not the correct way to do this. The best way is to send a full range signal to the amplifier that is converted to low level. Use the crossover in the amplifier to low pass the subwoofer. There are products made that can sum the signal from the factory amplifier to make a full range signal.

Only thing I wired from stock sub was the signal wire (RCA) to the amp which gives little to no power, all the RCA is doing is transmitting the signal from the stock sub to the amp. So if you wired it up exactly like that then it shouldn’t be happening if otherwise then I recommend wiring it like I mentioned on the video which is the same way I mentioned here.
