Same, I didn’t cry but it just hits diff. I remember the first time I heard this song. I was dead broke. Just started my business and was desperate to get some cash for gas and lunch that day. I stopped by a tiny little car store in Pasadena CA and while I was stitching up a car seat I overheard a neighbor playing my this song really loud and I just stopped and vibed to it.❤

Since I bought their first Album, I have been a Fan ever since. I remember going down Whittier Blvd. with my cousin Billy cruising the Street playing the 8 track. I am now 66 years old, and my cousin Billy is no longer with us. He passed on 10/30/21. I will always remember those days. Love you, Cousin!!!

The 70's were beautiful, man. Not like the BS today. WAR truly captures the essence of that 70's soulful sound with a Latin beat. Santana and War really fused Latin sound with African rhythms. Nobody does it better and nobody ever will. Just like Baretta used to say, "you can take that to the bank" lol
