Oceanled dmx colours can be used with new iPhone. Since last 7 years they don’t publish any update for software even support team don’t help anymore.

That “homogeneous look !” Definitely go with blue lights, although purple is a possible second. After that, pink. For sure. Is Halogen even legal anymore? All I know is that if some creature shines a bright white light in my eyes, I will probably fall down onto my knees because it’s probably an arch angel.

Another thing is night fishing on the patches it attracts squid ballyhoo thread herring even blue fish berracuda ect..come out of the shadows to hit the bait fish sometimes they fly towards the boat and you hear a thump (pretty exciting) I have one installing another but deciding wether to face it down towards the bottom or straight back behind the stern as sometimes waves lift the stern and the light partially out of the water

Copy of email IGNORED Tue 5/06/2018, 11:26 AM Dear Sirs, A had a close friend contacted me on the weekend as he was considering buying your X16 Boat Lights because I am an Engineer involved in Emergency and Rescue lighting using LEDS and familiar with all manufacturers. Looking at your specifications I noted you are using Midnight Blue, 3.2 Amps at 12 Volts INPUT power that is 38 Watts and say 92% efficiency is about 35 Watts to the LED. The best Blue I have used is the 45mil Bridgelux with a MAX of about 20 Lumens per Watt this making about 700 Lumens a realistic Out put. However you claim from 3,500 to 4,800 Lumens ? Looking over many of your other Specifications this anomaly is not unique. I would expect such details from Asian Companies its normal to have grossly inflated specifications but not a USA Company. All Consumers do not have the knowledge or carry an integrating sphere in their car trunk to disprove. In this case it defies mathmatics

Hi busylifemeto. Our fixture lumen figures are based on our white light output, which is why we state "up to" on our lumen figures across the range with white, blue and RGBW. See here: www.oceanled.com/below-water/x-series-x16-underwater-led-light/ We apologise if this has caused confusion. Our lights also have specially designed optics to focus the light output to get the maximum light penetration in the water, so when deciding on underwater lights, its not just about lumen figures.

OceanLEDTV No your not sorry at all, you are like all the industry forced to LIE to the public because ALL manufactures are telling crap about light output. Find a light with genuine Lumen specification for Blue, It does not exist you all deceive the public by quoting WHITE. Further we have this BS of "Fixture Lumens". I know the Asians started the deceiving but would have hoped the great US companies would have had the marketing smarts to get around the issue rather than DECEIVE and tha'ts what t you are ALL doing.
