Awesome footage. Interesting I do not recall Lon Myers.

My guess is this is sparring before the Ray Leonard 2 fight because between rounds Manny kept telling Tommy that " He is not as fast as LON" Now I know who the hell Lon was. Its all about the history of the sport my friends all the work in the gym before the event.

I don't think Fury hurt him early like you said. Usyk was landing the bombs early. Towards the mid rounds Fury came back with some good bodywork and uppercuts, then Usyk took over from 7 onwards and really hurt Fury worse than he's ever been and won all rounds from then on apart from the 12th round. This rematch is anyone's since Fury is always good in rematches, but I definitely favour Usyk. Fury lost the stare down for all that's worth and he's got to be in Fury's head by beating him in the last fight. I'm not going to lock in an outcome because this is Heavyweight Boxing and anything can happen, but I want Usyk to win and in summary, it seems to point in that direction.

Benavidez don’t need canelo & canelo don’t need benavidez. But if it happens it will be at 175lbs. Since canelo says benavidez brings nothing to the table, benavidez will be next in line for the belts fighting against either beterbiev or bivol winner. But if the winner decides to vacate the belts the bigg fight we all need to & want to see. Canelo vs Benavidez for UNDISPUTED @light heavyweight (175lbs) 2025

Its the floyd Mayweather blue print look at tank ,he hasn't fought an elite fighter yet and he's already in his 30s and talking about retiring with a prospect record...its not about legacy or belts its about money ...benavidez was at 68 for 10 yrs and made no effort to unify belts yet he should of been fighting at LH or cruiser...maybe if he becomes undisputed at LH he'll get a shot at that canelo lotto...

He 100% doesn’t need Benavides on his resume canelo did too much, that’s why canelo won’t fight Benavides because he knows he doesn’t need him. And Benavides is my favorite boxer btw but it’s clear

I look at the Canelo vs Benividez fight in 2 ways…. 1) To the casuals and the Canelo fans the fight won’t matter. They believe anything, and every win is magical in their eyes. To them, Canelo is the second coming of Jesus Christ, and he can do no wrong. He’s already great, which I agree Canelo is an amazing talent. Because they don’t know better, or don’t care who Canelo fights, the business of boxing will allow Canelo to do what he wants because it makes big money. 2) To the hardcore boxing fans, we won’t forget. The problem is, hardcore boxing fans are an extremely small crowd. To the point where we don’t matter, because they know we will pay to watch the fights anyway. And if we don’t tune in, it’s not enough to move the needle. I’d love to see the fight happen, but Benividez doesn’t have big fan base to give the financial insensitive to make the fight happen. I don’t think it’s right, I don’t like it, but I’ve accepted the reality of our sport. The only voice I have that networks, promoters, and fighters care about are my hard earned dollars. So now, if I don’t like a PPV, or I don’t think the match up is worth it, I don’t buy it. A few years back, my cable bill (depending on the PPV’s that month) use to run over 200 but close to 300 bucks. I had all the sports channels to see boxing (in Europe and Mexico), DAZN, HBO, and Showtime, etc… But now, I’ve lost interest over the last few years. I don’t blame it all on Canelo, because he’s not the first, and won’t be the last. But it seems like the boxing medias d fans seem to make it acceptable, and even argue against their own interesting as to why the best fights don’t need to happen. Which makes zero sense to me. I’ve been an absolute a boxing junkie since I was a kid in the 80’s watching Mike Tyson in his prime. That’s when I fell in love with the sport. But now, I don’t really give a shit. I just listen maybe 1-3 boxing podcasts just to stay informed as to what’s going on. And if something peaks my interest, then I’ll watch. Boxing is more of a business than a sport now more than ever. It’s really disappointing.

Great interview, very insightful and its interesting to learn what happens behind the scenes. I like shows like this because you hear from the people in the trenches and get a real good perspective from people deep in the sport. Shows and interviews like this, is what helps appreciate the sport even further. Recognizing that those that invest in the sport and in athletes are not always guaranteed the glory the are all seeking.

the soonest they were suspicion pac was doing PED is the soonest they kick out alex ariza as he might be concocting undetectable PED coz just like conte said there is a duration that this PED will show in the test. If they test them outside this duration it will become undetected also it might already has gave fighter advantage. So the rule of the thumb is stay away from the snac program by victor conte otherwise even if you come clean in the testing you will still be suspicious of you as a cheater since he knows how to go around the test and thats why they terminate ariza as conditionng coach as he was suspicious of doing something like what conte is doing. basically victor admits that he can easily evade vada testing.

Bro, I got a question for you. I've been hooked on something called 'lost waves' music. It's songs that were recorded, but without a title or artist listed. Some of these songs have been around for decades. I'm sure at some point, most will completely disappear forever and nobody will ever know. Any, there is one song in particular that's driving me insane. It's currently call 'Dream Your Dream' or 'Stand By My Side'. Or both combined. YT won't let me paste the link in the comments. I've tried before and got suspended from posting ANYTHING for 48 hours. The vocal tone reminds me of either Spanish Fly or Daize. But if you, or ANY commenter on here can find it and take a listen, I'd appreciate it. Tell me what you think. It's 100% Freestyle. Maybe it was never meant to be released. Supposed to be forgotten. Who knows. But it would be great to put an end to it one way or another, once and for all. Spread the word. Somebody out there has to know something.

The sparring partner is doing a good job of imitating Leonard, but the thing about Leonard & all the greats is the intangibles, the physical fine tuning at vital times in the fight, the unseen fighting spirit inside em & their millisecond decision making process, the in fight IQ & their reaction times. You can try to imitate Leonard, reverse engineer what he does but a fighter like Leonard can never be replicated

10 mins of The Hitman going through a tactical sparring session in preparation for a World Title fight is more exciting & educational than Floyd Mayweathers entire championship career. If they met at WW or LMW Hearns gets him outa there in SCARY fashion, HITMAN STYLE.
