500 degrees Fahrenheit (260 degrees C for us on this side of the pond) doesn't allow liquid water, hence lush greenery or trees cannot exist. Apart from that, very nice film.

I didn't get the notifications thing. What was useful about them if you're travelling in cryo-sleep all the time and the ship wakes you only when you're arrived? Probably I missed something because of my poor english or poor IQ🤣

I usually don't watch the sci-fi shorts but this caught my eye and I will say...it was GREAT!!! More please.....

When you read the books of the New Testament you have probably asked yourself many times: "Why is it that for 2000 years we have not seen the miracles that accompanied the Church of Christ in the first century as the New Testament describes them? Why is it that so-called preachers of Christ have to prove that Jesus really existed, while atheists have the audacity to deny the historicity or divine origin of Christ? Maybe because the Church of Christ ceased to exist after the first century. There is no Church as it is described in the books of the New Testament, but there are Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant and other Christian sects, claiming to be the Church, but not having that one thing that distinguishes the divine from the human and is characteristic only for the Church of Christ - the backing of the word with signs, that is, miracles (Mk 16:15-20). I really enjoyed this short film. The story was well done, and wasn't hard to follow. I was so invested in the characters that it really drew me in. Hats off to the cast and crew for the amazing work that went into it. Really enjoyed it

If the protagonist and his wife are "a few thousand light-years apart" there's zero point in him sending her a message. It's a shame script writers don't care about accuracy in matters of importance, or are content to invent Hogwarts Drives and other fantasies in order to pretend that interstellar travel is the same as heading down the 405 for a business meeting. And in reality, any Earth-like planet (vanishingly improbable to begin with, as best as current empirical evidence suggests) would have a well-developed ecosystem full of analogs to our Earthly viruses and bacteria, to which any humans would be 100% vulnerable. There's such a huge difference between cowboys-in-space nonsense and reality that this kind of fiction simply misleads ordinary people into false beliefs. Far better for us to stop screwing up the only planet for which we're actually adapted, than to run away and hide under the metaphorical bed of illusory dreams.

this movie reminded me of David Bowies "Major Tom" song. this would be creepy - in a different way, to be out there all alone, away from everyone, waiting, waiting. good movie - which can happen any time a space craft goes up

The music and the emotional story line were powerful enough to make the inevitable science errors almost insignificant to the experience. Keep up the good work, and keep getting science reviews of the scripts.

From pretty well all the comments this was a good one. I have a hearing difficulty and so did not understand a lot of the dialog. So I cant tell.

60 ppm of CO can easily be terraformed by a technology that can fly manned spacecraft between stars.
