For some jobs tue degree matter like the ACCA your salary will be higher and you'll get promoted faster, you moght even get a hgiher position on some companies

I had over my life over 30 jobs at 25, and I had in UK 5 jobs... Specify what type of job in UK Cause for jobs with no experience anybody would be hired as long as it can do the work .

The Southeast London areas are rough! (Newcross, deptford, lewisham, catford bellingham etc) Over crowded because of the many mish mash of towerblocks and blocks of flats being squashed in all spaces (complete eyesores) and with the good family houses that lewisham council had allowed greedy landlords to be converted into multiple occupancy full of PROBLEMATIC people (mostly men - drugs alcoholics, mental health etc) dumping is out of control they will fast become rat/mice infested areas if not already. Avoid like the plague under all circumstances!

This is crazy. Your cleaner charges you £150 for 2.5 hours? You need to find a different cleaner!! Max £20 p/h. And saying £15p/m for a phone bill is decent because you were spending £60…. Who spends £60 on a phone bill unless you’re including buying the phone in that!

Even the so called "reasonable" in London is still almost a fight to survive and even find a place. You may only be able to do this if you're in zone 6 or 7 for example, room sharing with a few people, avoiding the costly TFL rates and earning at least £1500. Very wealthy, white and live in some of those white areas (Richmond, Kingston e.g.), it's like living in a different city.

It’s just the financial inequality for me, the inequality isn’t as stark as other countries. London also got its wealth from the empire, and it used the whole country to get this empire. And kept the spoils to themselves. When we go to war, it’s “we are all the same” but after said war forgotten again. It’s just unfair, the game is rigged. And until London start letting other areas have a fair chance to compete - London will remain hated. They are also buying cheap houses in impoverished areas to make cash on too drawing more money away from the rest of the country back to London, as I said - the game is rigged.

53k£ is not the avarage salary in London. It is 44k£ according to The Times in 2024. If you are younger, like bellow 30, it is even lower than 44k.
