I had trigger finger in both thumbs and one middle finger last night, very painful! I took one electrolyte replacement tablet (nuum)that I usually take when golfing in the summer and it went away. Hope this helps!

Doctors were putting cobalt hips in people, poisoning their bodies and brains driving them mad. Hip replacement surgery is extremely painful, especially when they send you home with only a few (3-6) pain meds they claim will last you a couple days. In reality, if you’re lucky, they last maybe halfway through the night. You wake up in excruciating pain that brings the strongest men to tears. You can’t get a hold of any doctors until your doctor’s next shift, and pharmacies are closed. You can’t get your full post-surgery prescription until your doc is in, and hopefully your pharmacy is still open. It’s ridiculous how much pain they make you suffer until they feel like returning your calls. 24hr pharmacies are nonexistent in many areas, but you couldn’t even drive to one if you shot yourself with adrenaline. Which means you have to rely on a pharmacy that delivers, and they take their sweet ass time delivering too. Pain management for hip replacements is garbage.

Oh puleeeeease. You can have chronic pain and know exactly where it's coming from. OA for instance. OA doesn't get better with exercise when it's bone on bone. "Unpleasant sensory and emotional experience" - hey, IT HURTS. Emotions don't trigger pain; they're caused by pain. FOS.

So what you're going to hear about opioids since he was on the CDC's advisory committee is a load of rubbish. Fact is opioids work for most people in severe pain. It's the only med that's approved for severe pain, so taking people off them is just plain wrong. You left on aspect of the whole issue out of the conversation: the pain patients. The ones that are suffering as a result of your abusive and twisted idea of what pain is and how it needs to be dealt with. Demonizing opioids. Btw, Bupe is more destructive than pain meds and it's still an opioid.
