That's so kind of funny in a non-disrespectful way on my part. Though, I have had similar thoughts. I think that I might ask people to dance with a loved one to a specific song, honestly.

You have 4 options. Work for some one else. Work for the state. Work for your self. Draw benefits paid for by some one else working one of the above. Period.

Age 67 here. Have to say as a lifelong Stones fan, they lost me over this one. Greedy little egotistical, sad asshats. This spoke to the newest generation at the time.

I'll admit it; I hated this song when I was a kid. But now, when those strings hit...beautiful.

Slaves to money then we die. That’s the truest words ever spoken to humans because we all are exactly that whether we want to believe it or not but without money there’s no survival

I’m a radio host and I play this song every once in a while on the air (top 40 station) and I say it’s a great song - but I wouldn’t even put it in the top 10 of songs by The Verve. Great song, no question, but just because a song blows up/radio friendly/culture song doesn’t mean it’s the best that band has to offer.

"Life is a struggle...Monday morning..a job you despise.." Considering he's British and ought to know better, Ashcroft seems wildly ill-informed about the socio-economic status of the average Glastonbury-goer...the people you imagine you are talking to couldn't afford a ticket to Glastonbury even their dreams
