Most of the fluids will not come out as it is in drums and other areas that wonr drain easy like the torque converter. I find i talk too much, i have been told i dilly dally. Lol. I cant do voiceovers, I work a lot and when i do these videos talking during really speeds things up. This video was very early in my youtube days, i have learned to keep my talking to a minimum. Lol.

@jstewart627 I always cut factory recommendations in half. I change plugs and tranny fluid at 40k. Oil i change at 5k. Remember, dealerships want your car to fail. Thats how they make money. And the whole lofetime fluid thing i believe comes from the fact that with a sealed transmission the fluid can be used up to and beyond 150k. But if maintained your jetta will go 300 and 400k easy. And the internet is a good source, just do multiple searches and read dozens of posts, then find something in the happy medium Let me know if you have any more questions.

@BrockcoledMK6 Take a deep breath. Lol. As long as you get the same amount of fluid back in, you will be fine. It seems scary because it is an unusual process. Do this, call the dealership, and give them your VIN. Ask them if it has a wire mesh filter or a cloth style. If its wire mesh like mine you will not have to remove the pan. That eliminates a big step right there. Then all you have to worry about is the fluid. If your over 80k you definatly will prolong the life of the tranny by doing this. @user-mu9gw7ji5n Male sure when you flip it up the bottom of the seat is up as well. That puts the back into position. You may have to lift that lever while pushing it back into place. Let me know if you still have problems. Ill go do a video for you if needed.

4-6 inch extenstion should work just fine. Its been awhile since i did this but you shouldnt need anything too crazy.

@gnz265 if your getting air coming out a head bolt then my guess would be a head gasket. These are pretty easy to do. No water to worry about.

It can be a difficult job to remove. Come back and let us know what they charged you for the job. Could help others with their choice of shop or do it themselves.

I agree completely. When it arrived, i was a little upset at what i got for 500. The throttle lever broke off shortly after i did that video. I did wind up rewelding the hopper, it didnt hold out long at all. For chipping branches, it's doable. But a 3 inch tree? Hell no. 2 inch maximum, and i have to stab it, chip about a foot, pull it out, and go again once it recovers. It did what i needed it for, very slowly. The issue i am having with it now is it surges, revs up, and down. I have gone through many of the normal things to cause it, and i can't find a way to fix it. Now its retired to the shed for winter storm clean up. You may want to check the reliability of the on and off switch, the one on mine is starting to fail, takes effort to get it to turn back to the run position.

@@cobravids yep, the spark plug and the switch are first on my list tomorrow. Surging like that is usually related to partial clogging of the main metering jet in the carb....causing a slightly lean mixture, forcing the governor to cycle....might also be that muffler being wide open which might change how air flows thru the combustion chamber....clean the carb first then weld up the muffler

@hermon1985 Thank you so much for the comment. I love my Vulcan. I now ha e 32k on it. My advice, do not buy after market air filters. I chose to give one a try and regret it. The air filter acts like a catch can, it takes in crankcase air amd seperstes the oil vapors and the oil drains back into case. With the aftermarket the bottom doesnt seal up causing the oil vapor to drip down and at speed back ward. Its made a mess so im about to go back to OEM hopefully that fixes the issue. Never had that issue until trying the aftermarket. Enjoy your vulcan. They are built like tanks, just do the maint amd it will be good. Yours is just starting to break in.

@@cobravids Thank you I appreciate the advice and will defintely take note of that and stay with the stock filter! I am actually going to get a aftermarket Cobra Exhaust system installed next week as I like the deep growl I have heard the Vulcan with! I have been loving it so far and been all over the place! The Gas mileage is great as well!

If you couldnt tell i make these videos for fun. I love my F150 and learning to use large equipment with your truck takes some practice, and some lessons learned. If your wondering, i was loading dirt into the truck with and excavator, i loaded 3 beds full and when i went to scoop the excavator slid forward a couple inches. I didnt compensate and learned a valuable lesson.

The only truck i b buying. Lol. The Fseries has been the hardest working small 4x4 truck i have had the opportunity to drive. Chevy is just absolutly garbage, Dodge is decent but feels like a toy truck, Toyota way overpriced. The Fseries is the #1 truck.

Very good comment. A nice dump trailer would be useful if i did this type of thing often. As another person said, removing the tailgate is a fix. As long as the backup camera is easily dissconnected.

I thought i was taking accountability by saying that i did it. And yes, if Ford would have made a solid piece right there instead of a two-piece, it would be just fine. The design is a problem for people who use their trucks as trucks. Shovels, rakes and whatever i use gets hung up on that section. Thats the only thing i hate about my F150
