This story is represented in other ways as well but my documentation is based on Saroj Raj Chowdhury's own book and documentary that I have personally looked at. So, I believe this is true.

Bhai story telling is good but aap wahan toh nahi thay itne detail mein toh aap aise bataa rahe ho jaise aap he khairi ho ....story timing badhane k liye itni stupid details daalna is not imp ....
@arindam000999 Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your review. Yes, I do believe the story time became a little longer than I wanted it to be. I have been studying Khairi for more than a decade now and have gathered all the information from different sources including the forest officials who had been there with khairi. I just wanted the whole story of khairi to be there, that's all. And yes, I have been studying tigers for more than 15 years now and work for tiger conservation. I believe once people understand these beautiful creatures they will help and support in their conservation. That's the reason I tell tiger stories.

some sources say that Khadia tribals got Khairi heirless....Unclaimed. nrear Khairi river
@arindam000999 Жыл бұрын
No... Saroj Raj Choudhary himself had acknowledged that she was with her mother while she was found and the tribals brought her after the mother tigress left the cub after she was disturbed by the tribals.

@arindam000999 Жыл бұрын
Yes, khairi was from odisha
@sarojdwibedy9145 Жыл бұрын
All things narrated are correct,but one thing U hv missed that khairi was collected by the local people of jungle who have handed over to Mr. Banshidhar Dwibedy working as a forester at that time thereafter he took khairi to his DFO office at Jasipur and Mr. Saroj Raj Chowdhuri decided to adopt khairi and kept with him in his Gov. Quarter inspite of objection. As the cub collected from the river bank of khaira bhandan, hence she was named as khairi by the staff of forest dept. And for the long time she was displayed covering with iron wire at Jasipur. Thereafter visitors enjoyed khairi for a long time . Mr. Dwibedy was awared with by the department for such collection. He has collected one elephant cub at that time.

Our culture is so beautiful. We know everything has to be respected. People really knew how to live with other inhabitants of the planet. But sadly we've forgotten our roots and ethics and values. We kill and destroy nature
@arindam0009992 жыл бұрын
Indeed, if we have to have a future.we need to learn to live respecting and caring for nature.
