@@everythingverysmall Yes, MV automatically places ads on Journey sites. It typically takes a few days to see ads populating in very space. In the beginning, you may see just a Grow ad or a blank space as they are ramping up. But definitely after 3-4 days, I would expect to see ads consistently loading on all pages.

I am a late to come to the “blogging table”- and while I have had a website for years it’s square space I only recently jumped through hoops to get the ads.txt to possibly “work” on my website. * is it possible to use your service and get a substantial revenue with a site on square space ? Or do I have to scrap it and do word press ? Please advise I am really trying to make this work for me. Thank you

@@Mediavine that's fantastic. I am building up content now ( I work in series TV for note worthy shows ) and my blog will help other decorators in TV and New media as well as educate others. I am also planning on interviewing other union and non union members of some of our favorite shows. I think I have potential, and I have to get it going. Square space without Ad's revenue has been so upsetting. You being able to bypass this is the first I am hearing and I am happy to learn more about you guys.

Do you need AdSense account, because my was disabled without warning after 14 years (I used Ezoic for the last 4) for displaying too many ads? As I learned the hard way, now I prefer manual placement that algorithmic. What do you do with a site that was using Mediavine and had 100K views, but after HCU it has 10K?

I knew it sounds too good to be true You have to install something called Grow, that has nothing to do with ads ..

Grow is how we're evaluating the traffic to your site to determine its eligibility for Journey ads. It will also help advertisers identify your visitors after third-party cookies are gone.

To start, we'll be looking at overall traffic numbers and where it's coming from (geographically and referral sources) to determine how well a site will monetize. Journey sites will also need to meet brand safety requirements.

Will be interesting to see how this plays out. Recently removed a site from full service provider (that shall go nameless) as they just didn't care about the user experience when it came to smaller audiences, and instead the site be lit up like a billboard in Times Square (or Piccadilly Circus depending on which side of the Atlantic your on).

Pinterest Share Price is still Down. Now going to the Short Form Video, it sounds like they are trying to catch up with TikTok; as KZbin, FaceBook and Instagram have done. Never really used Pinterest, but AI has now enabled me to do at least a post every day in minutes. Image generated, ALT-TEXT Done, Description and CALL-TO-ACTION. Only tried promoted pins so far...

It wasn't so long ago the criteria for joining was 25k, so that was already small-ish publisher friendly. It did upset a fair few when it suddenly jumped to 50k especially for those that were just about to meet the 25k session criteria.

Hi Mediavine, Other than earning revenue from adverts being shown on a blog. Are there any other reasons why a site would want to be attached to Mediavine? I see a lot of discussion around advert revenue in FB groups etc. Just curious of any additional good reasons that you would want to be attached to mediavine that may not be well known or spoken about as much in these groups. Does Jamie have a list of things to discuss with a digitally focused lawyer? I paid about $750 for my trademark a few years ago - but I went through a lawyer who had JUST done a trademark for another blogger in my niche, so it was an easy "find and replace."
