Hey Ksab, I’m sorry I’ve been offline for a while, this is really horrible news I had no idea Tank was missing, I’m really rooting and hoping he’s alive, he’s got to be, let’s not give up hope, so many lions we know have gone missing for months and re appeared, you can never count them out, I am praying Tank is okay, I know how much Tank means to you so stay strong my friend. This is a tough time but we will get through this. I will make sure I check the updates during this time. 👑🦁🙏💪🫡.

There is no way anyone will ever convince me that the S21 males are the reason Tank and Split Nose is missing. There is no way a lion (s) is killing either of them and come out without any wounds. Just not going to happen. If I was to take a guess what happened is a Snares, Hunting injury, Snake bite. Just my opinion i am sure there will be them that disagree.

I’m happy that Blondie is still alive and with Zaza & Zozo. It would be great if he forms a coalition with them🦁 however the hope for Tank and Splitnose is becoming less and less especially for Tank. Really appreciate the updates🦁🧡

Did Blondie show signs of being in any recent life or death battles ? He would of if with his brother or both ? He wouldn’t of cowardly ran off !!! Are any of the lionesses that Tank and Split Nose were regularly with and cubs been not seen for awhile as with the two brothers ? Important questions . Keeping the cubs safe and being in a low key place is a possibility ? Really curious on these possibilities. Studying the history of kings who have disappeared there’s some intriguing scenarios that played quite awhile later to the inevitable , They were not weak and old yet like many forced to go nomad . So ?

Blondie has no tolerance with his sons before, that's weird! If he manage to keep his sons with him and form a coalition maybe we'll see the saga of Notch again .

How could s21 kill both and no signs or bodies etc? It just seems odd. 2v2 or two diff 2v1’s and s21’s are not badly injured? Just seems off to me ..

These S 21 male lions remind me off the Majingilane lions although there are only 2 off them doing there damage during the night.I see Blondie staying with the Vurhami pride who are becoming really big.

I love the Gomodwane males and really apreciate your updates and insight however giving somehow hope and leading people into believing Tank could still be alive is not ok at all. As much as I hate saying it, he's dead ! He was in poor condition and any lions could've ended him. What's really shocking and intriguing to me is what happend to Splitnose as I see him capable of fighing any 2 males and make it out alive.

Thanx for the update. Its heart breaking to think that Tank and Splitnose are now dead. I was hoping Tank had moved onto the east with his eastern brothers but i was basically being in denial but Splitnose missing is terrible. The Gomondwane's have been my favorite coalition but for the last year and a half I felt Tank's dissapearances would catch up to him and be their coalitions downfall. The HP pride leaving the park and having to be darted and returned to KNP is also another bad sign for Splitnose and Tank but these S21 males will not last even though they are experienced,I hope ZoZo and Zano and company with the help of Blondie avenge his brothers. This is a hard life these males live, every day is a battle to survive and few kings die of old age. Most male lions either are injured hunting or killed defending their pride and territory,the respect I have for these majestic creatures can not be measured

I had a feeling he would end up with his sons/nephews. I had heard a couple days ago that he was with ZaZa and ZoZo. I believe this is our answer for Tank and Splitnose being deceased unfortunately 😢 I love the idea of him being with the boys, but if this doesn’t work out then I think trying to join his other three brothers would be awesome. They have been moving towards Blondie’s territory. I fully believe they he absence of Tank and the absence of his and Splitnose’s roars have definitely let other males know the territory is up for grabs. Drama in the Southern Kruger!! Blondie is repeating what one of his Old Gomondwane fathers did when he was the last remaining of the 7 males. He also made a retreat and hung around Blondie and the rest of his brothers. It's a sad end to the Western Gomondwane rule. I honestly thought they had more time,as they were 10 years old this year and by no means too aged to hold on to territory. I wanted to spend some time in KNP this dry season,but I just could not get leave. I'll never again see the incredible specimen that is Splitnose. Maybe it is not as surprising. The South of Kruger is extremely competitive. Hard for males to hold down territory.

At least Blondie is alive and with Zaza and Zozo they can protect him from any more harm alone with any of the brothers that are with them. And I've said it before I believe in my heart that Tank is dead and as for Splitnose I hope if he is dead he defended his cubs so the mother's hopefully got them away from the danger because when he was last seen he was with cubs and two Lioness. If Zaza and the other males are going to the Hippo Pools Pride area that means there's going to be a fight because there's another male that has taken over that pride or am I wrong which I hope I am. But if Zaza and his brothers are headed there where's Blondie is he still where he was or is he going with the boy's 🤔😊💖

I hope zaza & zozo let Blondie be a apart of their coalition. Its heartwarming when you see the younger ones protecting their elders. I hope they all stay safe🙏🏻🫶👑🦁

Poaching does not appear to be rare at Kruger. The fight and dearth of lions are not completely natural cycle. Their territories are constanly dwindling due to human activity. Poaching and illegal hunting are a serious threat to lion lives and ecosystem, shall be prohibited with severe panelty.

If Splitnose and Blondie fought with someone i think it's strange that there is no sign other injured lions in that area...or is it just Blondie who is injured.I know that if they were both alone then there is not much they can do against 2 attackers...even if they are Gomondwane males.
