Happens to the best of us. Commanders with removal stapled on them tend to draw the ire of the table. The known threat is an easier target than the unknown one.

Gyruda has "Companion - Your starting deck contains only CARDS with even mana values" which means they can only be your companion if every card in your deck is even. You can play gyruda in the 99 not as a companion but if you want it as a companion you can't have any odd mana value cards in your deck...not just creatures

@@spelltablesplits audio is hard there so much stuff that can go wrong. What editing software do you use I couldn't figure out how to do those life total things on my videos. Also is this like recorded over spelltable i know it's called spelltable splits but never know

Cascade + discover are so good together...it was one of those heart of the cards situations in the low

Etali's trigger allows you to cast the spells as part of the ability when they enter. It ignores timing restrictions but those spells can't be cast later on. They have to be cast at instant speed with it's triggered ability.

You're not wrong, that's one of the reasons 1/10 of my deck protects zinnia. Bello also suffers from not having them out but being in green makes getting the mana to recast them much easier

Oh yea it was a long one, but editing a video is usually 1:1 based on how fun the game was to play and this was a fun one for sure

It had to be nice running all the basic land payoff cards...he had so much mana that game!

I love to see upgraded Bello like my precious baby but man did he mess up a lot with mana echoes. It gives you colorless mana equal to the number of OTHER elementals per creature that triggers it. so he was able to do a lot of things that he shouldn't of been able to. also he should of done warstorm Surge twice when the copy came in because it sees itself and the other triggers as well.

Hi there. Bello player here. Mana Echoes doesn’t say other. Just add colorless equal to the number of creatures you control that share a type with it. Video didn’t mention it but I did realize I missed the warstorm trigger, but far too late

That's on me, warstorm trigger was called out in game, I just forgot to reference it in the recording but yeah I think the mana echoes play was all done right.

When it works it's phenomenal but it's definitely a pet card. It can suffer from the "just wait until I untap with this" problem but in my opinion it's worth

He felt like he didn't have profitable attacks that wouldn't leave him hurting on the swing back I guess

@@spelltablesplits I'm not convinced. He had a 17/17 with trample, that reverted back to 5/5 after his turn was over

His only real attack was Will which would have killed Will and maybe he felt like he couldn't take Jeff's or my board state by himself. *Edit: He would've had trample but idk, I'm sure he had his reasons

I can definitely try to find a more mellow background sound for the gameplay
