This is perhaps when he realizes that no matter how he feels about his father's "business" he is officially in and there's no looking back.

Absolutely loved this movie. No viable violence however you could feel the terror and the obvious threat all the way through.. In my local theatre in Wellington, New Zealand the management told me that they could not take it off screen for months such was the demand to see it.

here is the difference between the book and the movie : in the book , it was only after paulie's death that the corleones are appraised about luca brasi's death. but in the movie Paulie is alive when the fish package arrives. in the book the dialog exchange takes place as follows : clemenza : the turk has learnt about Paulie tessio : and now we know about luca

Ya he sold out to Sollonzo and the other families. He faked sick when he was susposed to be protecting Don Vito, because he got paid off Which lead to the Don almost getting killed by Sollonzo's men.

If i remember correctly, in the book it was explained with more details how they found out Paulie was a rat, but i did not read the book in many years, so i am not 100 % sure.
