The beep sounds are from the Mark I GPWS, callout is from Mark II, likely this plane had Mark I fitted in (if any GPWS were installed)

The 717 does have a "PULL UP!" alarm, both eGPWS and CAWS systems are present on the same plane. The 717 uses Honeywell's eGPWS systems. Still operating MD-80s do it too.
