My friends have made a few attempts, and one of them kept having mechanical issues, with 2 different bikes. The other one finished. So the one who didn't asked me to do the final stretches with him. So we started in Salt Lake City and picked up the trail in Wendover Nevada. We finished the Pacific Ocean Spur in Port Orford Oregon 5 days later. Now I want to do the entire route! Thanks for the great video!

This was awesome and inspiring. One tip that may help you or someone else is placing a dab of silicone on the head of a bolt/nut will keep it from spinning loose, but will be easy to remove if you need to access it.

The trail starts in Virginia and ends in Washington state. No need to go to New York or California. No wonder you saw so many snakes...

What bike do you recommend? I’ve seen alot of adventure bikes but I’d like to get somthing lighter
@louiec18482 ай бұрын
im thinking 701, best of both worlds
@PeterMonslerАй бұрын
The lighter the better as you can jump and slide around more. It all comes down to the luggage weight. We had 12 kg each so a 450-650cc bike is perfect. Raise the bar so you can ride standing up when needed and dont use the clumsy panniers. Let me know if you head out there.

So a multi millionaire that supplying coffee to one little shop was giving back? How about helping those struggling financially or paying for children to attend university.

Retiring in 3 months, I'm planning to do this with one of my best friends, he doesn't know it yet... he has done it once but said the lead guy had an agenda to cover so many miles each day! My thoughts are, no timelines, however long it takes us is what it is! Thanks for videoing your trip, it has inspired me to start planning ASAP!

genuinely appalling to see this man frolicking about on stolen land like a tourist while entire families and neighborhoods are being carpet bombed to sustain it. May you one day see the evil in this. feels like this bs was recommended to me just to get me pissed.
