I still remember the rush of emotions as I stood backstage, waiting for my name to be called. I was about to pitch my business, Ahtis Paints, at the Township Entrepreneurship Alliance event for the first time. My heart was racing, and my mind was flooded with thoughts of "What if I fail?" or "What if I forget what to say?" As I heard my name called, I took a deep breath and stepped onto the stage. The spotlight shone brightly on me, and I could feel all eyes on me. I began to speak, my voice shaking slightly at first, but as I shared my passion for Ahtis Paints and my vision for a sustainable future, I started to feel more confident. Despite the initial nervousness, I managed to convey my message and showcase my product. The audience listened attentively, and I received valuable feedback and encouragement. It was a moment of growth and learning for me, and I realized that pitching my business wasn't just about showcasing my product, but also about sharing my story and connecting with others. Looking back, I'm proud of myself for taking the leap and facing my fears. It wasn't perfect, but it was a start, and I'm excited to continue improving and sharing my vision with others.

stage fright is a first problem entrepreneurs need to solve before they can try to solve consumer's problem. Pitching your product/service should come natural and not rehearsed. Not even one of the contestants showed confidence and if I was an investors I would walk away within 30seconds.
