Super nice! This album is crazy expensive on discogs. Does anyone know an edit version or if it's featured on a complilation?

So right it is a great dance song and evokes so many memories of of my teenage years. So there's a sadness to the song to bad we have to get old.

It's so great to hear this recording. It was produced by the great Billy Stracke for Fusion Recirds in 1978. The album was the second for Bobby Kent. The background singers consisted of the great Sharon Russell (lead singer for the San Francisco famous local band Sweet Chariot) International Singer, Viva; Olivia Duke, and many more top performers. The album had an all-star cast of musicians. If my memory serves me, we recorded it at a studio in the San Fransisco Mission District.

The mysterious “Persia” was Zell Black. One of her two producers, Jurgen Koppers, would be familiar to any deep fan of Donna Summer - he was a regular in Giorgio Moroder’s talented disco factory. But the main producer was Kenny Nolan, who is best remembered for the pleasant, Paul Anka-styled crooner of 1976’s “I Like Dreamin’. When I found out, I was WTF?! Which proved to me anew, you never know how talent will manifest itself. And, presume at your own risk!
