I grew up in Compton went to tibby elementary then Benjamin Davis junior high graduated from Compton high in 92 and as I recall I was the only surfer in Compton in those days and still surf to this day . Just heard of this not sure what to think of it .

@@brandonlevesque781 I don't like it when you take the Compton name and not see you actually have people that are from there. But used the name to sell clothing. There's actually people that I know that are from Compton and they real good at surfing and they've never heard of this club.

To be from Compton mean the struggle, strength and giving back to the community. not privilege people sticking a black kid in a video and slapping Compton on the jacket and making money. This video does not show me Compton pride I say that because I know Compton we in power the one's doing good for our neighbor and I live it.

@@bobbelcher1670 so you’re assuming they put a black kid in the video just for the sake of promoting they’re clothing lol? I think you’re hyping yourself up buddy. Not everyone from outside your city are “yuppies”. Everyone in this video looks like they’re having a good time, and just so happens there’s a brand involved. At least they promote events/sports that are inclusive regardless of race or social class.
