In my 2001 Honda accorded I had this problem you might won’t to check on your egr valve and if you haven’t had your intake manifold off in a while we’re the place we’re the egr whole is will be full of carbon I literally had a plug of it in mine.

...I think the big issue is all the plastic missing, AND the headlight seal that you pointed out wasnt even closed! ...Leading to water intrusion. I just replaced mine on my 2009 and it didnt look overly corroded like that one lol!

I think that evap purge valve was the wrong way, the (to E/G) is supposed to be pointing to the turbo inlet as you can see it has an arrow

Even better, soft boil 2 eggs. I use a thumb tack to poke a hole in the bottom of the eggs, bring water to a boil, boil 6 1/2 minutes and pull them out and straight into ice water. They help curb the spice.
