There may be some slight bottlenecking from the gpu but it doesn’t seem to affect the performance too badly. Plus it handles all these games at high settings pretty well.

I mean on my end it seemed pretty smooth so it’s probably just an encoding issue or the game itself being stuttery regardless of the performance

It will be a better experience than the 2400g when paired with the RX 5700 XT. It also leaves room for you to upgrade to a better GPU in the future.

I use r5 5500 and asus tuf rx5700xt, I get 70-120fps, they work very well together.

It will give you a boost in performance as the RX 5700 XT is comparable to the GTX 1080 Ti, which of course is better than the GTX 1070 Ti. You will have to remove the old Nvidia drivers if you do change to AMD.

I have a slightly modest version of this same rig with the i7 4770, 1050 ti and 8 gigs of ddr3 ram which has served me really well through the years....few nights ago I ran Helldivers 2 on this rig and was surprised to see how good it looked even on the lowest settings while hitting playable framerates which goes to show that game devs CAN really optimize a game to look good AND play well even on supposedly low-end hardware if they really wanna... nowdays I feel game devs are hand-in-hand with companies like nvidia to pressure consumers into buying new-gen hardware by making them feel like they cant run newer games on their supposedly e-waste systems no more through poor optimization done purposely, which is just disgusting. I did get an RTX 3070 laptop down the lane couple of years ago by spending a bomb (which I regret) but even THAT is considered outdated tech now (looking at you, Indiana Jones and STALKER 2). Pardon my rant lol I just wanted to get this off my chest and anyways mate good vid, cheers🍷

Was using a 4770k myself, from 2013 until just 11 days ago, but with a 3060ti GPU. There isn't a game on Steam I couldn't play at 1440p with medium-high settings. Most games don't seem to require any modern CPU, and are significantly more reliant on the GPU... either that or the 4770k is just a god among CPU's.

If you need peripherals like a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and headset, I would suggest buying a $500 gaming PC and use the rest for your peripherals. In my opinion getting a good 1080P 144hz monitor and good gaming mouse are at a higher priority than a good keyboard and headset.
