Depends on what you consider expensive and how many of the items you are willing to clearance shop for or thrift for. Price out sheds in your area, look for a used one, that's what I did and then if you have the skills to do the finishing yourself, then shop clearance everything and slowly work on it.

It's not a sticker. It's engraved. from Stanley. You can upload any photo and get it custom on the website.

I have that same leather cover. The side slit is used to slide the notebook elastic through to keep your notebook closed when the leather cover is open (stops any loose papers from falling out). I have a Rhodia notebook in mine since the Moleskine notebooks aren't fountain pen-friendly.

Don’t buy more! Use what you have and you’ll get a better idea of what you like to use it! I can totally relate to you and your planner dilemmas. 😂 I also have kids in their young 20s and work, work, work. I got the Hob Planner in A6 and am planning on using it as a creative journal/journal. I struggle with sleep and anxiety so I am hoping it helps. Love your process! Thanks for sharing. 😊
