If you get your legs torn apart by a group of crocodiles you can still drag yourself around and kill people biting their ankles to male them fall, wrestle and finish them. basically roleplaying a zombie.

This, this right here is why I love Dwarf Fortress. It is by far the most in-depth fantasy simulation I have ever seen. That all of this happened, outside of the player's input, is insane.

Do you have the AI art template prompts you use anywhere? Or a copy+paste of common keywords? It's such a cool style I'd love to try it for my worldanvil

"dnd style illustration, character portrait, pastel color palette" - those were the phrases that mostly guided this style :) I usually also indicate time of the day, the atmosphere (calm, sad etc.) and try to give detailed description of the character, but that gives varied results :D sometimes I have to write just three words and other I give two full sentences and get something hilarious still :D

That other narration style you used in the last video was really good at least as a change of pace if the opportunity presents itself again I hope you take advantage of it. The situation there was perfect for the switch and narration hopefully this video series continues for a while I'm trying to learn how to play the adventure mode so when it comes out on the steam version I'll actually be able to do I've had a lot getting into the ASCII style and every time I start an adventure mode in that version I can't do anything I did get a new computer though and I actually have a mouse now instead of just using the laptop with the small keyboard. On a side note does anyone know if you can just take the graphics from the steam ers and copy Islam into the folder for the older version and let the game play with the really nice art style. I actually bought the game without ever playing out when it came out on steam because lo and behold it just happened to be the time I logged back into my steam account and saw it available and I had $25 to blow... I've gotten basically nowhere in the game I suck at games now I'm too old

Hopefully you'll get it! But fortunately you don't need that strong pc to play DF Adv Mode (the world generation on weaker machines can take some time, but it's doable).

While editing I realized that you can offer or take currency when giving someone items. I will try to use that option next time. Controls can be fun in this game, that's for sure.

Hi Horth SMS, it is possible to create a whole party, when creating your character. After you reach the last page of character creation screen, you can add a new member to your party by pressing N (during gameplay you can switch between characters using TAB and if you will use SHIFT+E - you should enter tactical mode - you will be able to chose actions for each party member and then time will progress - if I remember correctly). One thing to mention is that magic system currently is not very robust, but there are some mods that add some magic I think.

@@immersioner I have a slight anarchophbia. But i managed to fight against it, so that i can kill thoes fuckers in RL and can tollerate them in Games. But i always get an adrenaline shot, when i see a spider.
