It was a shame about the knife, it was a nice one. Oh well :( The camera is a GoPro Hero HD but I wouldn't buy another GoPro. The "Sartex Sport Buddy" looks like a better camera and the retailer in the UK is known for good customer service.

Hi Bill, how are you? I missed the part of the Dive where you lost your knife ;-) Did Holger find it? Which camera did you use , and which one did you decide to replaace it with?

Hi GrouchyTurtle, You're quite right on thumbing the dive - honestly it's a view we both hold very strong. The camera really doesn't do justice to just how dark it is down there, at one point my buddy was only a few feet / half a metre in front of me - but didn't see the freeflow. We both learnt a lot - for example my signalling was quite poor given the conditions. There are a lot more lessons too, I honestly think we learnt more in that one dive than in all our previous dives put together.
