I can not say anything for sure. But to me it seems Eschen is the prototype of Piff the magic dragon. It is the same comedy and silly magic. But Eschen is way more 'believable'.

I think I figured it out. this kid brings with him 1 male ring and 2 linked female rings (all crooked). Then after procuring the genuine rings, he proceeds to making 2 chains: F-M-F and F-F-M, only M is crooked in F-M-F, and only M is genuine in F-F-M. Of course he shows the F-M-F chain to the 2 females and the F-F-M chain to the one male. Now here's where the mind fuckery starts: after he releases the M ring from both chains, he's left with F-F fake chain and 2 separate F real rings. There's no way both women could see their rings linked at the same time and not notice their ring is missing. unless.. a stooge I hear you say? I don't think so. If one of the women was a stooge, he'd only need one F-F(fake)-M chain, but at 4:00 the close up clearly shows an F-M(fake)-F sequence. I think he didn't have to show both rings in the same chain, they both understand it's an act and won't react immediately ruining his show. But that's a gamble with the noisy and obnoxious woman from the back.

Now it's 2021 and there's a chance you would be cancelled for your "toxic" jokes. Just shows they have aged too well! Love it

I've always wondered what would happen if a magician were asking me to pick a card using a riffle or whatever that move is called, and I just let them do it all the way to the end and said "I want the bottom card on the deck."
