Nicely played. My friend plays flute and would like me to accompany him on guitar playing this tune. Your arrangement will be very helpful. Thanks!

I'm trying to learn your version but I'm having a very hard time. Do you have any tab or chords?
@skippertheeyechild66214 жыл бұрын
Alright Alfred, sorry, I don't have a tab for this. The arrangement was done in a very short space of time. I had a quick noodle on my guitar, I played this in standard tuning, with a capo on the 3rd fret. That might be why you are having difficulty with it, the chord shapes would be much more difficult without the use of a capo. The melody line was played separately because I'm terrible at playing acoustic! Hope that helps some 👍
@alfredtaylor10764 жыл бұрын

What a great guitar. Do you recommend different pickups?
@skippertheeyechild66216 жыл бұрын
Thanks! It's got a few problems at the moment, but yeah, it has been good to me. I've had it since 2012. The stock pickups were a bit muddy and were lacking clarity. Swapped them out for the Irongear ones about 3 years ago, and it's the best thing I ever did with it. It's my main guitar and I love it to pieces.

Nice man! I'm gonna start uploading some more stuff this week because I've been busy with reversals and work. I'm thinking about selling my 2x12 katana and getting a 1x12. It's lighter and not so bottom heavy (In terms of tone). It sounds nice but when cranked, it has WAY to many lows and it's hard to EQ. Hopefully the 1x12 is better because I played it before and love it. I still enjoy my Katana 2x12 but I think it's better for studio or home use rather than live or at least not loud gigs.
@skippertheeyechild66216 жыл бұрын
Ah it's that JeremyMccanmakeawesomemusic, hope you are keeping well! I have the opposite criticism for the 100, it's a bit fizzy at times when it is cranked. You really need to work at the EQ to make it sound just right. I'm hoping the speaker on mine just needs wearing in. Saying that, it's a great amp beyond a few quibbles. I couldn't justify the 2x12 myself, it's way too loud for what I needed it for (the 100 is loud enough!) I think you'd be alright with the 100.
