I'm so happy to see this ! I just began working there and love helping people figure out and fix anything propane related,we also service the tanks and re certify them ,any tank older than 12 years needs recertification

Thinking about getting this one because its cheaper and takes up less storage room than a King Canopy (although the King Canopy one is more durable). Hows it holding up a year later?
@DiyRVandHome9 ай бұрын
It is holding up fairly well for the conditions we use it in. No major issues just normal wear.

There's so much gold in Quartzsite that the guy that owns the miners Depot is leaving town. If you have money for a claim in Quartzsite you may find gold. Oatman Lynx Creek and other places are much better for hunting. Quartzite is a very crappy little town that will suck up every penny of your retirement money. The food here is as expensive as it is in Alaska and everything has to take an extra ride to get there. There are only two places to eat in this town. Peggy's BBQ directly across from Dollar General.... when they're open. The food is excellent. Barbie's almost right across the street and next to the Chevron station. Barbie and her husband Paul are really nice people that work very hard but they are an elderly couple and can only work 4 days a week. These people are very friendly and the food is generally consistent . You can go to Silly Al's for some good food but it will cost you about double what it should cost. Here's a prime example. A ham and cheese sub that I just paid $9 for on the East Coast is $18 on the West Coast . We have got to get rid of the Communists before we can get this crap under control. My advice is stay as far as the hell away from quartzite as you can...... especially if you're looking for gold..

Thank you so much for this! I'm about to do a scavenger hunt for Christmas this weekend and am staying in Q. Was wondering if there were any ideas of where to start!

Do you happen to know where to get blank mechanical keys? Elite RV Security seems to be defunct. Thanks!

Go to a locksmith, they should be able to help you.

No we have not had any issues with it coming loose. This same unit is on it's third door as we have changed trailers a few times but have kept the same lock.

We loved doing laundry there
@wendyd41212 жыл бұрын
I spent last winter tent camping in Quartzsite & I agree with this review. The laundromat was clean & well-maintained. Although their showers are more expensive than some, I liked the convenience of showering while my laundry was washing. I also liked getting a good cup of coffee next door. 👍🏼👍🏼
@philconfer41922 жыл бұрын
Great place to get your laundry done and have a good meal, sit a table and have good conversation with strangers that after eating are now friends.
Congrats on the new 5th wheel. You are not missing much up here in Idaho. It’s winter. We could not come down this year 😢
@CampersLife2 жыл бұрын
Thank you, This year it has seem to be colder and windier than last year. Maybe you will be able to get down next year.

Nice fifth wheel, looks like you have a water leak above your bed on that slide. I would check it out if I were you before it gets worse. Peeling wallpaper is a dead giveaway of a water leak.
@CampersLife2 жыл бұрын
That was something we looked at when we first looked at the trailer. In this case there no leak or signs of a previous leak, what appears to be happening is due to the wall paper shrinking and pulling from the paneling. I have seen quite a bit of this in other trailers.

Why would you put up a carport (even just to test) on land that doesn't belong to you. Reason why opportunities are getting shut down? Just a thought
@cynthiabackman61742 жыл бұрын
It is a tent. It is public land. Smh.
@CampersLife2 жыл бұрын
There is no issues with having a tent or carport setup on the BLM land. Most of us are here for upto 7 months in the same spot and are allowed to have tents as long as it is not a permanent structure. I may recommend that you youtube BLM LTVA Quartzsite Az and watch some of the videos.

I could fit my whole minivan inside that. :) Thanks for sharing this. I got a 10 x 10 Caravan tent with sides and some 5lb weights to hold the tent down. I am a noob, this will be my first RTR experience. I have a couple questions if you can answer for me. 1. Which LTV or BLM is the least windy? 2. Which is best also if you want to make friends but not have to deal with cops and rangers coming by all the time? I mean I like the protection but I imagine it could also be a hassle. 3. Would it make sense to stay at Ehrenburg and just drive to Quartzsite for the events and back? I would like to attend a couple of the classes, check out the free pile, and maybe some of the cool RVs/Campers. 4. Any tips for a newcomer? 5. Considering these have no flooring, how do you manage if the rainwater comes in under the tent?
@CampersLife2 жыл бұрын
I am going to suggest you to look up rtr and Bob Wells on youtube, and plan on attending the rtr this year. I am sure you will find the answers you are looking for

I just discovered your video & I'm so happy to have found it! 💝 I had arrived at La Posa South LTVA in Quartzsite on 11/30/21 & decided to join in the parade on 12/18! I was driving the first SUV in your video & my 14 year young sidekick pup was enjoying the ride! I met some wonderful people that night & my fun memory is captured on your video. Thank you! 🎄🏜🎄🏕🎄🏜🎄🏕
