Why do some 1198s have a red frame with black wheels?

Each year the frame colors changed for the 1198s. My 2009 1198S frame is gray. I think 2010 were black?

@@dougb4956 I went to view a 09 1198s and that had the gold frame and gold wheels. I've only seen a 2011 1198s with a red frame and black wheels.

I bought the orange U1 three weeks ago and have just finished running it in and it's having it's first service next week. Really great bike and very comfortable for longish journeys - nippy and handles extremely well. Get loads of compliments on its looks and of course it is always getting mistaken for the KTM Duke 125. I live on a farm and have great fun bombing about on meadows and mud tracks. I am 6' and it is the perfect size for me. Totally recommend it. Ideal for beginners as the ABS brakes are a godsend and will save a possible bike dumping scenario.
