Tim, thank you for bringing this subject ro the front and centre of the debate. I have tried for years to publish a paper on the issue but the only periodical that accepted my article was the Exchange and Mart. Very limited circulation but its a start. Thank you again. Fred A Hornibrook.

How about temish material, if a large enough space is created within a temish suit to obtain the necessary air within water to support life, while having a pressure release valve, for instance a breathairian or someone with very strong lungs and little in the way for processing air/energy, would that suffice? I have not educated myself on these matters, learning and sharing thought to improve the way.

Not exactly brewed like beer mate, beer brewing doesn't use dodgy genetic engineering.
@OpenCell Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment Finn. Indeed this is an oversimplification to make an analogy people could understand. What are you referring to when you say "dodgy genetic engineering?"
@finnnnn Жыл бұрын
So, precision fermentation uses genetic modification, like artificially adding and changing genes of things at the DNA level. This hasn't been done for long enough to know what the long term unintended consequences of this might be. Independent studies on animals eating genetically modified food have shown things like cancer and loss of fertility caused by this food. There is basically lots that can go wrong when people start messing around with genes. None of us know what the consequences will be a couple of generations down from us. It's proper dodgy stuff man, and I'd rather avoid it. I only buy vegan food and there is already enough good stuff out there without precision fermentation and we don't need it.
@OpenCell Жыл бұрын
@@finnnnn Thanks for your thoughts. I think we all agree that it would be amazing if the entire planet became vegan and we found a sustainable way to grow enough vegetables for 8 billion people. The realities of that are a little difficult to imagine happening in the immediate future but while we do work towards it, consumers will still demand a change in manufacturing of animal based food. Companies like Better Dairy do a significant amount of quality and safety testing to meet the same standards you would expect from any food on your supermarket shelf. Everyone should pay attention to the labels and choose a food product they believe in. You have mentioned that you would avoid it and we support that. Let us know if you have something helpful to look at regarding the way we could better feed 8 billion.
@finnnnn Жыл бұрын
Cheers for the message, I agree it would be great if the whole planet could become vegan. I don't really see the problem with growing enough to feed everyone in that scenario, seeing as we already grow about to feed about 80bn livestock animals globally. Just use some of the land currently used for growing animal feed and grow some more veg for us. Could reforest a lot of land too. Personally I think more local no-dig market gardens is the best solution to feeding people while looking after the soil. I'm sure Better Dairy mean well, and most vegan cheese does have no taste, but I just have a strong opinion against anything using GM technology, hence my comment. This stuff should be looked at in serious independent scientific studies on human health and environmental impacts over many generations before becoming available to buy. Maybe it will be ok, but if there is even a small chance it will end the human race then I would suggest leaving it alone. That goes for anything involving gene editing in my opinion.

BTC is the future of crypto and the questions traders ask themselves now is if this is right time to buy? before jumping into conclusion i think you should take a look at things first. for the past few days the price of BTC has been fluctuating which means the market is currently unstable and you cant tell if it is going bearish or bullish. while others still continue to trade without the fear of making lose, others are being patient.. it all depends on the pattern with which you trade and also the source of your signals. i would say trading has been going smoothly for me after accumulating over 11BTC since late last year. with my trading strategy of different auxiliary software which help me to win trades. you can easily reach me on Telegram @teresa_locklear WhatsApp:: +447418397505
