What I can see DPC is developing is MC and Troy either becoming friends or I guess if you go the DIK option rivals in MMA training. That being said there has to be a point to this especially with it being Troy and I sense there will be a point Troy will beat up Dawe and Caleb will then beat up Troy and Chad leading the full 1 v 1 of MC and Caleb. That scene is one of those hit me the hardest in this fantastic game. I still remember how uncomfortable I was when she first showed me her high school graduation photo. She looked so sad in it and her father didn't even held her by the shoulder like he was doing for Derek. I smelled abuse, but I wasn't sure. And once I reached that scene at the end of the wonderful episode 10, everything connected. Patrick isn't just some misguided fanatical father who thinks that stopping Maya from seeing Josy is the right thing to do for his daughter well being. He's an abusive asshole who doesn't really love his daughter. And suddenly what Maya tells us while repeating the criticism she was the target of in the past came back to mind (it's in episode 2 I believe): "You're not the daughter I wanted." Well, Patrick, you're not the father that Maya deserves either!

I just recently went through the first two seasons on Steam. Didn't originally intend to really pursue Jill, but SO glad I ended up on her path after the main and secondary plans BOTH failed. What a great way to wrap up Episode 8 and have it feel like a good ending, knowing there's still more coming. DPC did music for this game so very, very well. This song really makes a certain couple scenes hit deep with the intimate feels. Heavily looking forward to season 3 on steam!
