Why does it state 6-1/2" woofers when they are closer to 5-1/4"? Speakers are measured to the surrounds, not the outside of the frame. Dahlquist DQ-10 woofers have a 12" basket, but they are 10" woofers.

Was going to get 3020i but since they're coming out soon I might wait for the 3020c just for the pin oak color.

All the images make these look huge like 50"+ tall. 28" is just too short. Who sits that close to the ground?. On average a couch or chair puts our ears well above 40".

If you're used to traditional speakers these are baffling in a really good way: wherever you sit you get a great sense of ambience, bass, and stereo image. The sweet spot is huge. They need to be run in, but once they've got 50 hours or so on them, the sound is really really good. Fantastic timing, real bass slam, detailed mids and highs, and plenty of power. My only gripe is you HAVE to connect via WiFi. If you use ethernet you will find connection issues, and problems with the App not remembering settings. This took me a while to figure out as it really doesn't make sense, but now it's sorted I'm happy. These speakers are beautifully made, and seem to have virtually no resonance in the cabinets. I think they represent excellent value for money when you consider what you get. They also fit in very discreetly to your environment, and the lack of large amps / receivers / cables is really appreciated.

Writing this quite a bit later in 2024, but I just bought some of these second hand and I'm so glad I did, they are beautiful both in sound and looks. I see even now they are still available 4 years later so if anyone sees this and worries that they are superseded, don't let that dissuade you. I replaced some newer and more expensive bookshelf speakers with these. The difference is night and day, for me.

How sharp are the highs? All cool technical stuff aside, for a dedicated room for music, theater and gaming, how would you compare the sound of these to the Kef Q950? Not that I'm in love with them, it's just the best that I can afford and that my Denon x3800h would drive and that I could actually listen to them before I buying because it was on display in the showroom. How would you compare this to the Bowers & Wilkins 700 Series (the best sound in that showroom)? It's taking a big leap of faith to buy speakers that I haven't listened to first, so i'm really trusting you. Thanks.

The problem with Qacoustics is their pricing. They are going up and down everyday almost like stockmarket. One can buy them at 1018€ , a week later someone else would buy them at 647€! and then 750 or 900 , at the same time maybe different stores and so goes on.. I have never seen that with any other brand.. Most they have a price that stays there for years the same.

I want a slimline subwoofer I can put on the floor directly to the left of my Ikea Kallax unit. This will mean the black panel is flat up against the unit. Will this mess up the sound of this speaker?

Why would they destroy the design by putting a black mesh on the side instead of grey or white? Any way to change it?

Slightly annoying that these dont auto power on when I turn my TV on via AUX, something my cheap Creative T20's did no problem

just got them along qith cambridge minx x201 sub and I'm super happy with the result. They are in my gaming room 3.3m x 3.3m and I didnt want anything too big. Great sound from both music and movies. Replaced them with 3020i but then I wanted sub and.. yeah instead of buying more stuff like new amp etc this solutions is much cleaner and easier to set up. Great stuff thanks QAcustics

Nice unboxing! Thank you. I'm torn between these, the 3030i or the Dali Spektor 2. That port bung looks useful - but it makes me nervous 😧 in case you push it in too far and it's GONE! A bit like dropping a 10mm socket down the intake of your car 😂
