I just bought this drum a couple weeks ago, and I absolutely love it! I’ve played it with my wind chimes that are in the pentatonic scale of B-major. I’ve played it in music therapy, even while my music therapist has played the guitar. I’ve played it down by the river. This tongue drum stays in my backpack so I can take it everywhere I go. It’s now a part of my essentials. I do have one question. How do I fix one of the tongues on my tongue drum when it’s pushed in? Because to my perfect pitch ears, it sounds like there’s some overtones because it’s pushed in a little bit. Or is it ok that it’s like that?

Hi, thank you very much for your feedback and the insights. This small drum is hard to retune because of its size. At the same time, a few overtones can occur. When you play it, some of the other tones will also vibrate a bit and overlap each other. If there's a serious issue, you can of course contact the store/shop you bought it from.

@@MeinlSonicEnergy ok. Thanks for the reply. Now that you’ve explained it, it’s not such a huge deal that there are some overtones. The overtones still sound amazing with other instruments. I will keep continuing to play this drum. It’s another tool I have added to my toolbox of coping skills.

I’m a blind and autistic musician. For some reason, B-major is my favorite key in the music scale. I don’t know why. I have the small steel tongue drum in F-minor, but I really want the mini steel tongue drum in B-major. I have some wind chimes in that key, and I think the drum would go good with them. I also think it would go good with my piano, or even my voice. The possibilities are so limitless.
