This is a fantastic performance of this piece. I could tell from the moment that this video started that this was going to be a great ride. This will become my favorite version of this piece for sure. I am not used to the middle section onwards being so fast but the amount of control that this ensemble was able to sustain through it is just amazing. Thank you for such a thrilling performance of this work. Wow, just wow.

Why put the drums in front of the rest of the brass? You can hear them over almost everything eles.

Absolutely incredible playing. This piece is so under serviced lately. Playing a piece that’s written around a tone row is not easy to tune, and definitely has so many pitfalls with the counting in this. The display from the students is incredible.

AF honestly sounds like a bad high school drumline. Navy won this by a mile. Glad everyone was having fun though

This band is massive! My school had 3 tubas!

Tubas could definitely put out a lot more with those number other than that really consistent sound 💯

What an amazing performance! And the tone of the oboe soloist was sublime - especially for a high school student! Bravo!
