Where did you order the touch panel/bezel? I have a white freezer and can’t find them anywhere

I changed all 4 of the capacitors on the Control board but the only one that was bad was the 1000mf @ 16V. The one capacitor that goes bad is the largest one on the board and it was buldging on the top ( I changed the other 3 as a preventitive measure). Put the board back in and it was brighter and worked as it is supposed to (+ the light inside the freezer quit blinking). You do need to know how to solder and unsolder to do this but it sure beats buying a $180 dollar control board! if you have this problem and don't know how to solder, Try a CB radio shop at a truck stop, if they have a tech that works on radios Just show him this post and he will know what to do! :)

It was the 1000 uF @16V capacitor in mine too! The symptoms started with the freezer beeping and the light flashing when I opened the door. It still worked though, but a few days later I figured I'd pull the power to reboot it and see if that fixed the issue. Big mistake, as now it stopped working completely. It would usually just show a 1 on the screen, sometimes a -| (I kept plugging it in to see if I could get it to work). I replaced the capacitor and it's working.

You did not unplug it from wall to do that ? Others say "DO NOT" install board without unplugging first. Go figure.

My LFFH21F7HWB freezer control acted up as well and effectively shut down the freezer. Symptoms were door switch open (checked this and was perfectly fine) and like the video the display was not making any sense. The problem turned out to be a 1000mf, 16V capacitor that was made with poorly engineered dialectric resulting in it appearing puffed up. Replaced the failed capacitor on the control board and freezer is back in business. A good quality capacitor should only cost you 45 cents or so.

Thanks so much for the advise! I had a board circuit lying around and had the same capacitor in it, I just switched it and it worked like magic! I like to note that the capacitor looked just a tad puffed up, I had to pay really close attention to it, it would have been a lot more time consuming trying to spot it with out your advice. People like you make the internet better, thanks again.
