I used to use the infinite shields/boost cheat just so I could break the barrier over and over again. It never gets old.

Yea, breaking the sound barrier is something special in this game. It's the only racing game I know that has it.

@@aande1 I think if wipEout had a mechanic like this, it would have seriously amped the feeling of Rapier and upper race leages. When you make people aware of the sense and presence of speed, its incredibly exhilarating.

The pistol is the Vaykor Marelok. It's one of the best pistols. You can get it from the Steel Meridian Syndicate and need MR6 to use it. My build is a pure damage build, but you could make a crit or status build as well. Mods (in exact order): Hornet Strike, Barrel Diffusion, Lethal Torrent, Quickdraw, Deep Freeze, Pathogen Rounds, Primed Heated Charge, Convulsion. All mods are maxed except Heated Charge which is 8/10. It does about 7.2k damage. Wiki: warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Vaykor_Marelok
