@celticfireify Incredible coincidence. I also had a gorgeous little Pomeranian. Now I have two wonderful papillons. I agree that paps are more affectionate. They are all very intelligent dogs but they do require a lot of attention. They give in return a thousand times what they receive. Love them. ( and I am Irish too. - living in NZ)

@leemyster2 I had a pom and he was the love of my life and I now have a pap. It's a tough question. They're both highly intelligent and a lot of fun. But I wouldn't have small children around either. They are just TOO small. They both have great temperments. Poms I think like to chase small children. Paps are more affectionate. If the chhildren are old enough to know you have to be very careful with them, and are not too young, I think it's a great idea. Good luck and have fun.

Beautiful dogs! I have a 3 yr old female, but her hair is short on her ears. Plus she's big. They said she is a purebred 5th generation. But I have doubts when she weighs 11 pds. But mind is still too cute and sweet and we just love her bunches. I want to mate her cuz I know she'll be a great mother. But it will have to be with a smaller and longer hair pretty boy when I do with the hopes her puppies will get the father's traits she lacks. Great video, thanks 4 sharing. =)

Thanks everyone for your sweet comments. Dumplin' was one of a kind. She loved meeting new people and always had a smile on her face. She was taken way too early from us and I can only hope we will meet again some day. :)

I'm so sorry to hear of Dumplin's passing. There are no other words that I can say but your videos of her will always be there for us to watch and remember her with fondness and great memories. My heart goes out to you at this time.

Colleen I'm so sorry to hear about you losing Dumplin'! She was such a sweetheart and she seemed to have stolen everyone's heart. It's obvious that she was loved!

I love my new papillon puppy, he's wonderful. But I think people unfamiliar with paps should be prepared for their temperament. Papillons are very active. They are like Jack Russell Terriers with long hair :))) See videos of my pap from my page. Thanks
