Milana safricicial brand pretty much takes cares of half the job just gotta make sure the others characters takes out the remaining hp in 3 turns. Bringing weaponsmith douglas or perrielle as support to increase atk at beginning helps too.

The only way I managed to beat this, is to stick time/binding + max fire materia on each character, and then rotate sleep and stop while using aerith + yuffie to nuke with firaga. It's still a really stupid fight and 99% about the RNG and whether you get hit with earthbound in the first 5 seconds.

why is this game so full of absolute bullshit like this? they fucking jail all my characters within the first 30 seconds of the match

Just finished this with Cloud, Barett, and Aerith. Had magnify + heal for Aerith, magnify + barrier for Barret and then Revival material for all 3 party members. You absolutely have to switch constantly between party members, especially the last round, and just go balls deep in weapon ability.

I was staggering the mobs that CC'd my party members but they wouldn't release. I guess it has to be a certain time window? I relied on good RNG to get by this. I question the game designers on some of these fights....these guys, those f*ckin jellyfish, and the mindflayer having to die first. Why? Just, WHY?

This was the only method that work. I got smoked trying to kill them with fire using every character I could. Block and counter took them down in two tries.

I’m almost mad that I sat here for like 2 hours trying to get this achievement with an ACTUAL thrown weapon. Trying to math out trajectory, distance, and all of that. Now I learn that a Shuriken counts as a thrown weapon and I feel like a dunce since I got it on the first try… 🫠

Second hardest after defeating mind flayer first before those experiments. That battle pissed me off.

If you're like me and came for the round 5 strat, hitting the big wolf with sleep is pretty good for stalling. I recommend killing it first, its nuke is brutal

damn looks like i was very close myself, but im lvl36 and will retry again later. total 1588dmg, probably she needs 1500 and i was around 1400 great .,.

Tip: you MUST beat her within 2 turns, atleast for me that was the case, used iugos sleep slash and 1 charge yusuke and galdorf, milana's sacrificial brand and that should do it. sleep slash must proc and have her vulnerable 2nd turn. was around lvl 36. thanks OP this video helped me a bunch!

I was able to do it with dark runeshards much better. And I couldn't use the old lady's transformer. But yeah it's still rng dependent to do it this way.

It seems like we get only about 14 attacks before the fight ends best way is to have 3 fighters with dark element and have 2 use sleep skill and 1 sacrificial brand then have your charge fighter's buff up their attacks then have one person use food att up then when round 2 starts she will be sleeping and then you dish out the dmg but make sure fight ends with sleep again so she don't have a chance to defend your attacks team I had was all lv 41 lugo lam nowa yusuke mellore and had mio only bc she has a slight chance to 1 shot the boss

I beat her before the end of turn 3 and it ends up a loss

Great advice. But unfortunately now there is a bug recruiting Reyna. I beat her in round 2 like you, the fight stops but the dialogue after is the same as if you lost.

I hit the plate and nothing. No walls come down. I think it's bugged for me...I'll try again. Then never

Additional Info: My Weapons are at Level 7 (available after upgrading HG/Castle at Level 2 and building the Smithing Shop, At least Equip Dark Rune to one of your party and have her/him use the spell called "Sacrificial Brand" at the start of every turn since once the turn ends it will leave a damaging effect to Reyna (around 300+ DMG) but only 2 turns will have the impact cuz at the third and final turn it will not take effect as the battle is over at that point, Have Perrielle as the support she can increase your str attack at the beginning of the game (Note: Not quite sure but the effect will only be triggered after some time so my suggestion is save before tackling Reyna). Other info like Character Level and equipment are shown at the very start of the video.

With kid g any special he does dodge and immediately hit em that pressures him...easier said than done with those 2 things running around
