Hello i m really new with ORCA.Is it possible that 2 computers play together with ORCA and there 're synchronised together ? Could you please help me ?
@FemiFleming4 күн бұрын
@@marlenebertoux8531 yes it is! They can sync midi clock Set your midi output to an interface and plug it into the input for the interface on the other computer and set that orcas midi input to that interface
@FemiFleming4 күн бұрын
@@marlenebertoux8531 if your sending orca to your ableton or something, send it there with loop back or iac driver and then set ableton midi out to the interface and have a track that just sends midi thru to the interface

Hello this is AWES you so much for the update! :D I can't use the '$' (send ORCA command, the operator doesn't seem to exist), would this a thing that's different in the orca-c (command line) version? Can't find much info on it..

@@VitorGuerreiroVideos yes $ does not exist in the command line version, only in the application!

Think I've found it, so I think these Orca commands in the Orca-C version are done using the option flags when you run the application in the cl

If you want to clock ableton to orca, have orca send the clock. You start it by hitting ctrl-space

I do, I’ve been trying to figure out a portable modular case for ages, I just tried to do it again yesterday after reading your comment and ended up frying my most important modular trying to power the case of my power bank so 💀 I think I’m gonna hold off on the idea for a second again.

The program on the left with the code is called Orca! It’s a live coding environment that uses operators on an X and y grid to send midi, udp, and osc messages, here it’s being used to send udp notes and data information to to pilot, which is the synthesizer companion app on the right. There is a tutorial for orca on my KZbin channel.

not 100% sure, but I think it's ORCA, a visual programming language for messing around with synth stuff. No idea how ORCA actually *works* but this looks familiar.

It's a sort of sequencer/programming language called Orca that you use to program MIDI and the like on a grid. If you look up "hundred rabbits orca" it should be the top result.
