Interesting, So called experts online have been saying the top end golden commando engine was only available in the Fury only. Here, they say in any Plymouth it can be optioned.
@dstragand13 сағат бұрын
That’s correct. The 350 Golden Commando was available in any model. Where the confusion might lie, is that the Fury’s standard 318 dual quad engine was only available in the Fury. (350 GC optional also in Fury). That’s a change from 1957, where the 318 dual quad was the optional performance engine.

Hi Dave! I'm wanting to build an archive for myself and others with source video from attractions. I was wondering if you'd be open to uploading the original file to this somewhere like the Internet Archive or a MEGA link? Would love to see it without the compression KZbin introduces. I'd also love to know what your source was for this.
@dstragand27 күн бұрын
I actually don't remember where the original is from. I found it when uploading some saved Disney clips I had saved on my hard drive. I'll try to get it uploaded to the Internet Archive soon.

So great...I got to use the World Key kiosks next to Guest Relations back in '90 for the first time, it blew me away. I read somewhere that it wasn't responsive based on the pressing of the screen but based on the position of your finger. Is that correct?
@dstragandАй бұрын
Correct. It had infrared sensors that worked in a grid to tell the computer which grid coordinates your finger touched. Thanks for watching!

Really? The 1950's and they were still welding with torches?
@dstragandАй бұрын
Robot welders were still science fiction then. Thanks for watching!
@mshotz1Ай бұрын
@@dstragand After WWII, electric resistance welding was considered the standard. Look at GM and Ford films of this era and you will see electric welders, but also automatic welders.
@dstragandАй бұрын

I can certainly understand why they left out the Mustang II (74-78), but how could they leave out my first car--the 1979 Ford Mustang Cobra 5.0? That's more than a microaggression! 🤣🤣

My father had a 59 Plymouth. It rode nice but it was a dog. It had the slant 6 that couldn't get out of its way and the brakes would fade on high speed stops
@dstragandАй бұрын
Four-wheel drums were a challenge with fade on any car. Disc were one of the best later changes in my opinion. Thanks for watching!

I had an older client years back who hired personnel for the GM assembly plant in los angeles back in the mid fifties. He said many workers wouldn't last but a few weeks because the work was too much for them. As a result of high labor turnover, quality suffered. He told me too many cars weren't right so they needed to lease parking areas locally to store new cars until they could be fixed of whatever problems they had.

Thanks for watching! Factory work is always hard, no doubt.
