Everything you see in this video no longer exists. The Bay Area Blvd overpass with these cool stoplights was demolished and is now a boring standard underpass. Miss this place. Grew up living in the Houston area and going here. If I remember correctly they also had a virtual roller coaster type thing that can flip you upside down they got rid of long before the closed?

I wish I could have participated. Retropalooza is one of the few conventions I attend every year. I am so used to the convention being in October that I didn't know it was going to happen until the week before. Next year, I hope I have a costume to wear for the contest.

I saw a video where the fridge was inside the furniture inside the closet. I've never seen a fridge in a closet before. Lol! 😂

That furniture in the closet was for a fridge, as the mini-bar sign says there's a "complimentary fridge" for your personal items. Former photos show it sitting on top of the counter above the drawers; holding a fridge. That's a luggage rack, the other sink is a vanity sink, hence the kneeling stool.
