Must be something in the air as our car was rear ended while stationary at a red light the other day. It's at a local garage and they've given us a car on loan. @@tonismithdolls Thank you so very much! And oh my! I’m so glad your hubby wasn’t hurt in the accident. You weren’t in the car as well? I hope the repairs aren’t too expensive. I really hope I can get my car situation sorted out soon because I’ll be picking my son up next month and even if I take the RV, we’ll need a car to get around in Vegas while he’s here. My daughter and her boyfriend are planning to come as well, and I may need to pick them up too. I’m considering a Jeep so that I can take it on future adventures. I may be alone on Thanksgiving, as I won’t be seeing my kiddos until next month. And I need to get my car sorted before then. Otherwise, I would have loved to be getting back out to Oklahoma to see my family right now. But it just doesn’t look like that’s in the cards this year. 😢 Huge hugs to you too! Hopefully I’ll have another video up by next weekend. 💞💖

@bayareaknitter Hi! Hubby was in the car alone during the accident. He was coming home from a game of golf, his club is 10 mins away. He was waiting at the traffic lights behind another car, when the lady behind him put her foot on the accelerator apparently thinking that the lights had changed. Her car was much larger with a rim around the front. Hubby is thankfully fine, thank you for asking.xx Car is insured, no extra cost to us. Her insurance will be paying. Sweetheart, don't you have cousins living nearby? You could check in with them, they may ask you to join them for Thanksgiving. Just a thought.xx

@ ohhh I’m so glad your hubby is ok! How scary though! I was actually hit from behind years ago when my daughter was a baby as well! She was in her car seat in the back seat and we were also stopped at a traffic light, but it was snowing and a car coming from behind slid right into us. Luckily, we were OK. And don’t worry! I’ll be OK. I think I might go grocery shopping tomorrow and prepare myself the whole Thanksgiving feast. I’ll have left overs for days! 😅 I haven’t heard from my cousin lately. He may be going to his mom‘s house for Thanksgiving. She lives here as well, but I’ve never met her. It’s a long story… Anyways I don’t want to leave Dino alone on Thanksgiving. I’m just glad we have each other. 🐶🥰

I can't remember if I mentioned that I bought another Claire Taylor Willow sculpt silicone baby doll? This new one is open eyed, my other one is a sleeping baby doll. Both are prototypes, they are scary real looking! I like 'twinning' sculpts. Be well, huge hugs.xx

I went grocery shopping today so that I could cook a nice Thanksgiving dinner for myself tomorrow. I’m sure I’ll be doing lots of knitting and maybe even watch a Christmas movie on Netflix. ☺️🎄 Oh and guess what? I’m buying a used Jeep! Hopefully I’ll be able to pick it up next week! I brought Chase’s ashes home today, so it’s been a bit of a tearful day yet again. But I’m glad to have some closure and to have him back home now. I’ll probably share the plaque I received, with his footprint, in the next video. It’s very nicely done. 🥺🐾💕

@bayareaknitter I'm so glad Chase is back home.xx We had to put our Persian cat Chloe to sleep at the vets yesterday. She was 16, (I thought she was older) Poor sweet thing, we're devastated. It's also my birthday today. Having a quiet day, it'll all be fine.xx We've decided not to get any more pets, our coping skills aren't what they used to be.xx

I would frog it too, I wouldn’t wear it being too big puffy sleeves, rolled up hem like you say, sounds like you have made your mind up and I would agree. Knit something you would love to wear as the fabric looks so awesome. I had a cardigan that ended up too big even more so once washed, in the end I frogged it as it was just too big. Frog it dear friend and be happy❤❤

I am so sorry about Chase. It is hard. Have had to put a dog to sleep. I don't know if he went on his own or you had to make the decision for him. It comforted me to know that it was last act of kindness and love I could give them. I hope you are able to remember all his fun and loving moments eventually. Thinking of you. I’m glad we had a couple of good months after his diagnosis. But I wish we could have had longer. I’m so sorry to hear that you also went through this. It’s the hardest part of being a pet mom. 💔

@@tonismithdolls He’s gone… 💔😭🕊️ We said goodbye yesterday evening. I think this is the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through. I’ve lost other pets before, but I had such a connection with Chase.🥺 I’m resting today. Didn’t get much sleep last night. And I’m snuggling with Dino and loving on him. I think he senses that Chase isn’t coming back. 😔

@@cuddlemymicky I might… but the handle is actually in multiple pieces. 😑 I’m just glad that was the only part that broke. I might try attaching a new handle if I can create something solid. I also make pottery, so it might work. Otherwise I’ll sand down and seal the rough edges and just use it as is for cold drinks.
