If this is what you consider “playing poorly”, then not only have you set unrealistic expectations as to what a good run looks like, but you also are part of the reason why people are leaving. A good chunk of people who left Classic for NGS told me they did so because the minimum expectations involve never taking any hits, and being able to perfect counter every attack that can be countered. That’s the skill ceiling, not the skill floor. You did this with less than the recommended player count. Of course it’s not going to be an S rank. The game was designed to be played with a party, not solo. You’re trying to do something that is not recommended.

Um... Sir... getting the A rank isn't why i said i played bad, getting an S rank isn't exactly difficult for me, which was not rly the point of this attempt. I am capable of fighting this boss at world record time attack level's, as a result, i expect a very high degree of execution in what i am doing. This run did not meet my level of play that i normally am capable of putting out, and this run will be improved in the future as a result. I am not some elitist who demands insane feats from the average casual player. Quite frankly i don't rly appreciate you coming into my comment's and lumping me in with some group of people you may have encountered and placing any degree of blame on me for anything. With all due respect i can comment on MY OWN play in any way shape or form i choose and if YOU don't like that, that's a YOU problem. Have a good day/night.

@@Seph4096 Thank god, I was worried you were saying your level is below the minimum skill level that should be allowed. A lot of people on ship 1 have been treating noobs like shit, ignoring them when they ask for help because "If you can't beat SH with below level gear, you shouldn't play at all." One person kept bragging that he beat Sodam 100th floor solo with S rank, and it was "so easy a casual can't fail it." according to him. He then proceeded to berate me for wanting to use techter.

@@Seph4096 I was saying how I felt like I couldn't do anything against Persona, the one that goes through a bunch of different masks, the one guy just stopped the conversation he was having about the game being awful to tell me that my classes are bad, and me wanting to be all techniques is a stupid idea. I told him I've seen people do amazing things with a techter/force setup, but he wasn't having any of it, and blocked me after telling me I'm an idiot.

If you're reading reviews it's probably for the new game, New genesis, this is the old game. Honestly tough to say because Sega doesn't rly support the game anymore and the playerbase isn't what it used to be for the old game, so that rly depends on you.

Those moments I don't even watch PSO2 content anymore and this still shows up on my feed lmao. I do have a question though since it's been ages since I've been on PSO2. Is something like Guardian, Aether, Mana, Absolute possible in current times?

Yeah, GAMA unit's are still possible as well as GAME unit's, and if u prepare for Ultra boost day can make CVAGMA still too. Augment Transfer passes are not rly time-gated like they used to be which opens the door to some tougher affixing with less work these days.

idk what game this is but man you are amazing. just watching this gives my heart a big thrill. the character, the combos, the environment, the boss and how you need to destroy those eyes in order to fight the boss.. im loving everything here. being able to solo this is just fantastic even if it'd take so long but you can manage the battle. great man truly great job

Maaaaaan, coming from NGS2 (I used to play on vanilla mentor usually) I couldn't get past the waves of spider ninjas that replaced the Buddha statue bossfight on Master ninja. The encounter was insane! So I had to tone down the difficulty down to Mentor and HOLY MOLY it kicked my ass due to me not knowing how to manage enemy crowds coming from vanilla NGS2. This mod is giving me a much (although incomplete) better NG2 experience with QoL features from NGS2.

@@Seph4096 I always found P1 to be most prone to making silly mistakes, probably because of its extreme monotony followed by rapidly changing and important gameplay moments (like eye hook phases). I'm sure with Te buff a top-level luster could 1-phase 2nd eye hooks.

@@sophiasmile Yeah i definitely feel like a lot of my mistakes can be easily avoided, just lacking experience with it i suppose. I actually have some idea's that i think could maybe make 2nd eye hooks possible without Te buff but it's gonna be reliant on rng if it's possible. Will continue trying more when i find time away from other task's, considering aiming for a sub 45 eventually.
