I have high porosity hair, but I also have excessive protein. What should I do? You said that high porosity hair loves protein... What should I do now?

Wondering if I should just do a protein mask once a month and see if that helps? Moisture ones don’t seem to cut it. My whole top layer is frizzy. I dye the roots and glaze the rest once a month. I have straight ish hair. The back middle part has speed bumps type texture. Not curly or straight.

This is just the video ive been looking for. I have pretty long hair that is about at my knees and it is curly but i have never known how to take care of it. And my hair is so heavy that a lot of the curls at the top wont hold. Even putting my hair up in a bun hurts and gives me a headache because how heavy it is. So this has been really informative thank you

No one has ever mentioned this in these KZbin videos but the best oil for your hair is the oil your own body makes. The natural sebum on your scalp😊 it’s your dna so made for you and your hair. I just brush my hair with a boar bristle brush each night and don’t wash it for several months and it self cleans and looks amazing. Saves on a ton of money too. The hair industry don’t want you to know this of course otherwise they would loose money.
@LifeWithJenn
@LifeWithJenn 3 ай бұрын
This might work for some people but not for all. Some women have a lot of oil that their body produces and just brushing into the lengths won’t help the look of their hair because it produces so much of the sebum. And also if women are using products in their hair, it needs to be washed out regularly or they would be dealing with build up on the scalp which can cause issues and build up on the strands which can cause the hair to look dull and not healthy.
@Labuenavidasurf
@Labuenavidasurf 3 ай бұрын
@@LifeWithJenn an over production of sebum is a reaction to the hair being stripped of its natural oils from detergents and shampoo. There have been substantial clinical trials on this as well as research. The hair and beauty industry is one big money making machine con. We in the westernised world are too blind to see it sadly, brainwashed to look and smell and be a certain way. We are born with the tools our body gives us to look after our hair and the natural plants and water that grow on this planet.

You know what i ditched everything and just went back to ultra basics, here in Norway we have a product line by Sunsilk, dirt cheap stuff, we're talking as cheap as two bucks for a bottle, i love their shampoo and it's the best shampoo, my mother also use it and she has some of the most incredible hair I've seen, you don't even need a conditioner, for the simple fact that it contains none of the harmful proteins that end up fucking your hair up like high end products do, all it does is clean with sulfate which there is so much fear mongering about, when ironically high end products make a far greater mess out of your hair than sulfate alone ever will, frankly probably most drugstore products will suffice, same with skin care, i just keep it ultra basic, the more crap you put on the more problems there will be down the road. This is the uncomfortable truth for many, there really is no need for expensive shit, our hair is perfectly capable of staying healthy when left to it's own devices, unless you damage it.

I have normal-fine waves and it doesn’t do a ton for me either. It saves a little time if I use a bonnet, but I still have to go through and diffuse even after 20 minutes.

Hi Jenn! Not sure if you're going to see this after 2 months after posting this video, but I was genuinely wondering what happened to you and your videos. I was so relieved that you had just taken time for yourself and to focus on your family. Social media can really suck you in sometimes and not want to let you go. Also, the curly hair community and content-creator community can indeed be a cold cruel place, but I'm glad that's not stopping from you from posting your content. You have got to have such a busy life with 4 kids and plans to build a house, so if you still have time to periodically upload, I'm sure I can speak for a lot of apostolic young women by saying how much in need we are of wholesome, Godly content. To see how other young married women with children are managing their stress loads while counting their blessings. House-cleanings, realistic schedules, advice on raising children, children's hairstyles, what easy family meals look like for you all, what you're go-to "acceptable enough to leave the house" hairstyles for yourself are, hairstyles with/without products, family devotions, and whatever you feel like posting! Post when you can, pour all the love you have into God and your family; we will be waiting to see what you can share with us. You're an inspiration, but no pressure! :)

Hi I just found you on you on KZbin. What I have seen is wonderful content, I loved it when on your video about how to take care of long hair you were not ashamed to express that getting ride of spit ends was by cutting our hair. In the secular world that's the answer, but you were not ashamed to tell that there are ways to combat that issue. I'm a 63 year old apostolic widow and want to show the best of what God has given me at this stage of my life. Y❤❤ou are a great inspiration. I look forward to seeing more of your Chanel if that's what the Lord leads for you.

I enjoyed your curl hair videos. I'm new to the wavy curly technique. I have extremely thick hair past my tailbone. If I use the right products and diffuse I get curls. I'm still learning what works best. I think hair us a personal journey and anyone with sparky negative comments reflects on them not you.i happen to be 60 years old and I get those comments occasionally because "old ladies" shouldn't have long hair. I enjoy your content. Your channel should be full of what makes you happy.

I’m so glad to have seen your video! I was wondering what happened to your Instagram account as I always looked forward to your curly hairstyle videos and suggestions of hair products. I have very long curly hair and your videos were really helpful for me. Long, curly hairstyles is a “work of art”! If you can, please share your videos again of your curly hairstyles and products you use. I know you have a very busy life but if you can upload videos of your hair products and curly hairstyles that’d be so great! Congratulations on your baby girl, she’s beautiful!

Probably speak for many people in saying we would love to see your family updates. I have five kids and homeschool.
